SOUUP is the Southern Oregon Unitarian Universalist Partnership, made up of three sibling congregations across Southern Oregon: Rogue Valley UU Fellowship in Ashland, UUs of Grants Pass, and UU Fellowship of Klamath County in Klamath Falls. We work together to weave the web of Unitarian Universalist community, and to manifest our UU principles in Southern Oregon. In the past, we have shared worship, fellowship and even an intern minister among our three congregations.

Sunday Worship: UUFKC offers worship services at 10:30 AM, September through June. For the 2020/2021 church year, all services were via Zoom, and there will almost certainly be an ongoing Zoom option for services beginning September 2021. UUGP offers worship services at 10:30 AM year-round, and are planning to move to hybrid operations, with ongoing Zoom option starting in July 2021. RVUUF offers weekly Sunday worship services, currently presented via RVUUF’s YouTube channel, and available to watch at any time. RVUUF also hosts a Zoom “Coffee Hour” social gathering for large and small group sharing each Sunday at 11:30am, with links to join sent out weekly via eNews. The best way to stay informed about worship services and other events is to subscribe to the eNews for each congregation.
UUGP Book Group: The book group meets weekly between 2:00-3:00 PM on Mondays. We have been meeting consistently since November 2016, and have read a wide variety of books, mostly non-fiction. We adjust our reading schedule depending on the depth of the author’s style, and we are reading about 50 pages/week on this one. It is not uncommon for some participants to drop out if a particular book doesn’t interest them, and jump back in when the next one rolls around. Generally we have between 5-8 participants, so conversation flows fairly smoothly. A lot of our reading over the last year or so has been books on racial and cultural issues that are relevant today, and our discussions tend to be quite interesting. Come join us and help us select our next book! Contact: Georgia Moulton
UUGP Sustainable Rogue Valley: SRV welcomes participation from the larger SOUUP community! We meet on the second Sunday of the month from 12:30-2:00 PM by Zoom. Our meetings are informal and all are welcome. We update each other on our individual activities, thoughts, and goals, as well as supporting each other and planning events. More information is available at our Sustainable Rogue Valley website, https://sustainableroguevalley.org/. Contact: Dorothy Swain
UUGP Support Group for Mothers of Children/Adult Children with Mental Health Challenges: We meet each week. Our focus is on creating a safe and supportive space to talk about the day-to-day challenges we face. Contact: Ann Igl.
RVUUF Compassionate Path Sangha: Looking for a meditation group? Check out our Sangha which includes both silent and optional walking meditation and readings from various Buddhist traditions, followed by a lively discussion. We meet every Thursday, 9:00-10:30 AM, currently meeting via Zoom.
